Dr. Purcell is a primary care specialist certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  He received his medical degree from from Mercer University in Macon, GA with honors in the basic sciences.  He completed a three year family medicine residency at Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson, SC with training in pediatrics, general medicine,   sports medicine, women's health, geriatrics, and preventive health.  Since completing residency, Dr. Purcell has been in full-time private practice offering  preventive, primary care medicine for the entire family.      

 
      Brenda Beebe, RN
Nurse Beebe "BB" has been a nurse for over 25 years with over 10 years of hospital nursing experience.  She has spent another ten years working at the Anderson Free Clinic.  She coordinates patient visits, follow ups, referrals and messages.  She enjoys reading and playing with her grandson.

 Dr. Purcell is married to Hollie and they are active members at New Spring Community Church.  They also enjoy traveling, music, college football, movies and playing with there 2 sons.
